Last time I was in the shop you asked me to send in any fotos, even of small fish. I couldn’t bring myself to send pictures of the hundreds of bream I catch every time I fish Amsterdam, but yesterday I got this Tench on a chod rig with a banoffee popup. I’ve only ever caught 2 tench in my life & this one is by far the biggest. It fought far harder than its weight, awesome fish and such striking looks – my daughter said it was ‘a fish monster’.

Dear James, She's absolutely right! It's a nice big Tench, although you can send in any picture you like or think worthy, but we think you're right if it's the second Tench in your life, I agree you sent us a picture of a Tench. Thank you for you picture and definitely be proud! Hopefully we'll soon see another picture.
